Home School Teacher Bio
Heather Stewart, other wise known as Fairy Una Wildwood, has been teaching home schooling classes for six years in places such as: Long Island NY, Nevada City California, and finally Rockland County NY and Bergen County NJ. Through out the years Heather has taught: Permaculture for Teens, Gardening for Elementary Ed, Parent Child Gardening for Kindergarteners, Photography, Organizing your Portfolio of Learning for Elementary Ed, Nature Appreciation, Felting, Plant Dyeing, Herbalism for Mom and Me, Candle making, Papermaking, Powerful Women in History for Elementary-teen and finally the creation of a new program called Nourishing the Imagination for 0-7 year olds. “It all began one day when my god daughter Nell told me she was interested in home schooling. We talked about it and convinced her mother to home school. I agreed to help three days a week in exchange for Nell’s help with my six month old twin boys. Nell had a great year and I began classes for teens.” “I love teaching all children. With home schooled children I find the parents so involved in their child’s life and it’s magnificent. I see a lot of freedom in the children, they are able to be who they are and learn what they are interested in and therefore a lot of learning begins in a non-conventional way. This learning seems to really penetrate their being. I honor childhood and I honor freedom. I myself also feel free.” In all of Heather’s Classes the following is experienced:
